Do I need to install any software on my computer?
No, you do not need to install any software on your computer. RankStat is an application service provider and we host all the software for you.
Are updates included?
Yes, updates are included in your yearly license. We will not charge you anything for updates.
How many domains can I track?
The number of domains you can add depends on which RankStat edition you have:
RankStat Silver edition: 1 domain
RankStat Gold edition: 5 domains
RankStat Platinum edition: 20 domains
RankStat Gold Agency edition: 50 domains
RankStat Platinum Agency edition: 100 domains
How many keywords per domain can I track?
The number of keywords you can add depends on which RankStat edition you have:
RankStat Silver edition: 20 keywords per domain
RankStat Gold edition: 50 keywords per domain
RankStat Platinum edition: 100 keywords per domain
RankStat Gold Agency edition: 50 keywords per domain
RankStat Platinum Agency edition: 100 keywords per domain

Can I request to add a search engine?
Yes, you can request to add a search engine. Please go to our contact page and fill in the form.
How often does RankStat analyze the ranking of my keywords?
The number of checks depends on which RankStat edition you have:
RankStat Silver edition: once a month
RankStat Gold edition: once in the 14 days
RankStat Platinum edition: once a week
RankStat Gold Agency edition: once in the 14 days
RankStat Platinum Agency edition: once a week
If I check my position, I see different results than those reported by RankStat.
Rankings in search engines can change from day to day. Search engines also use many servers, some of which may not be up to date. If you check a ranking you check it on different servers every time you try.
Why does RankStat only show the top 50 rankings?
For good results it is important that your keywords achieve a top 10 or top 20 ranking. If you have a ranking which is higher than a top 50 ranking, most people will not find you via a search engine.
I would like other people to have access to the reports but not access to the settings. Is this possible?
Yes, this is possible. Please login, go to my domain and select access management. Here you can select who will have access to the administrator rights or who will be able only to view the reports.
How do I create e-mail reports?
Login, go to overview and select report builder. Here you can fill in a description, e-mail address and schedule the report to be sent.
Can I change a keyword?
Yes, you can change a keyword. Login and select edit settings for a specific domain. RankStat will stop reporting for the old keyword and will start to report for the new one.
Can I change a search engine?
Yes, you can change a search engine. Login and select edit settings for a specific domain. RankStat will stop reporting for the old search engine and will start to report for the new one.
How do you I upload my corporate logo?
This is only possible with the RankStat Agency editions. Please contact us for more information.
Is payment by credit card secure?
Yes, payments by credit card are secure for the RankStat services. We use a third-party billing partner who is specialized in online transactions.
Do you accept monthly payments?
No, we charge a yearly fee for all our services in order to keep our billing costs low.
Can I pay by check or credit card?
We accept payment by creditcard and checks.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Customers from outside Europe do not have to pay any VAT. Customers from Europe with no valid VAT number will be charged VAT, as will UK-based customers.
Can I get a refund if I decide not to continue with RankStat?
No, it is not possible to get a refund if you decide not to continue with RankStat.
How do I cancel my RankStat account?
Before your RankStat yearly license expires we will send you an e-mail to ask you if you want to renew your yearly license. If you do not renew and upgrade your account it will expire automatically. We will not renew your license without your permission.
